Housed in a charming former boarding school, Hótel Hvítserkur offers a unique mix of historical character and a relaxed, homely environment for a truly comfortable stay. Our hotel has 15 rooms and can accommodate up to 32 guests. The rooms are divided into six twin rooms and one triple room with shared bathroom on the corridor, as well as five twin rooms, two double rooms and one family room (double and single bed) with private bathroom.

Spend your days hiking scenic trails, fishing in the area’s untouched lakes and river, taking leisure strolls along the ocean, or visiting nearby attractions like the iconic Hvitserkur rock formation and local seal colonies. For a unique experience, enjoy a meet and greet with Icelandic horses and take a farm tour to learn about the Icelandic traditions of horse training and breeding.
