The Herring House Guesthouse offers quiet and cosy accommodation in Siglufjörður, the northernmost town in Iceland. At Siglufjörður you can enjoy peace and quiet in a comfortable environment with a breathtaking view.

The Herring House offers four bedrooms with shared facilities, a spacious two bedroom apartment, as well as two cozy cabins with a private bathroom, outdoor shower, and a small kitchen.

All our guests are welcome to use our outdoor shower in the refreshing Icelandic air and enjoy a relaxing time in our hot tub.

The guesthouse has a beautiful garden, a terrace and a great view over the town square, the fjord and surrounding mountains.

The Herring House is located behind the Church in town and only a two-minute walk down to the towns center.

Enjoy the afternoon sitting on the terrace gazing at the spectacular mountains and the midnight sun during the summer time. And for winter visitors, Siglufjörður is the ideal location for viewing the northern lights, enjoy winter sports and family vacations.
