With a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and total privacy on a peaceful Icelandic farm, this is the perfect spot to unwind.

The location couldn’t be better: just 2 minutes from Seljalandsfoss waterfall, 25 minutes to Skógafoss, 14 minutes to the Vestmannaeyjar ferry (with puffins in summer), and 50 minutes to Vík and its black sand beach. Glaciers, hot springs and Þórsmörk nature reserve are also within easy reach.

The cabin offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The open-plan living room is bright and welcoming with a sofa, coffee table and flatscreen TV. The sofa also converts into an extra bed for two. Streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ are included.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker and grinder, kettle, oven, stove, toaster, microwave, cooler with freezer, and all essentials such as spices, coffee beans, tea, and cooking oil. A dining table can also be used as a workspace, and a high chair with baby cutlery is available.

From the kitchen, step out onto the wooden terrace with outdoor furniture and sweeping views over Markárfljót river, Stóri Dímon mountain, and the surrounding valley – the perfect place for your morning coffee or to watch the Northern Lights in winter.

The main bedroom features a double bed with blackout curtains, a large closet, bedside outlets and reading lights. Bathrobes are included, and on request a travel bed with baby monitor can be provided free of charge.

The bathroom has a shower, washing/drying machine, fresh towels, hairdryer, iron and board, plus shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

Private parking is available right in front of the cabin, and self check-in is simple with a key box at the entrance.
