We offer self check-in and and all information are sent via e-mail prior to arrival.At our hostel you will find a shared kitchen, many bathrooms and all with shower, we also have a great seating area to dine in or relax.
There are supermarkets, bakery and other stores in walking distance from the Hostel.

Hafnarstræti hostel is located the town center or as we call it the heart of Akureyri. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surrounding of Akureyri, including whale watching, local swimming pool with warm water, great bars and restaurants. Across the street is "Græni hatturinn" a popular music club with icelandic music, tickets can be bought online on www.tix.is.

Church and Hof Cultural and Conference Center are about 350 m from Hafnarstræti Hostel. Akureyri Airport is 3 km from the property.
