A beautiful countryside guesthouse, ideally located just off Iceland’s Ring Road (Route 1), offering everything you need — plus stunning views.

We’re happy to invite you to experience life on our working farm and get a glimpse into traditional Icelandic farming and animal care.

Guests are welcome to take part in daily farm life and help care for the animals — including bottle-feeding baby lambs and tending to sheep, bulls, pigs, and goats. On the property, we also have four Icelandic horses. For a more personal encounter, you can book a private “Horse Hour” for one to two people. This hands-on experience includes feeding, grooming, and the chance to go for a short ride on Freya, our gentle 18-year-old mare.

The experience varies by season, but during summer the visit typically lasts around 60 minutes and begins and ends at Litlabjarg Guesthouse.

May is a particularly special time — it's lambing season! Upon request, guests may have the opportunity to interact with the newborn lambs, help bottle-feed them, and experience this unique part of Icelandic farm life as the sheep and their young prepare to roam the hills for summer.

Cancellation policy

• Canceling within 7 days prior to arrival a 100% of the total amount will be charged.

• Canceling within 4 weeks prior to arrival a 50% of the total amount will be charged.
• Canceling within 2 days prior to arrival a 100% of the total amount will be charged.
