Skálholt is one of the largest historical sites in Iceland and a bishop's residence since 1056. In the basement of the church in Skálholt there is an exhibition with artifacts and fragments of history. It is possible to book a short and long site tours for groups and individuals throughout the year with a guided tour of the church, the exhibition and historical sites in Skálholt.
