Broddanes Hostel is a small, friendly, family-run guest house that caters to travelers from all over the world. The guest house is on the ground floor of the house and all rooms have shared toilets and showers. Travelers can enjoy a well equipped kitchen and a lounge and dining area where they can enjoy the view, read books or browse the free internet provided.

Wildlife is abundant at Broddanes. There are seals swimming off the coast and birds soaring through the sky while the sun and shadows play among the majestic and mysterious landscape. Nature lovers and photographers will have a true field day in the vicinity along the many hike routes, long and short. The hostel also offers bird-watchers a great opportunity to visit the kingdoms of puffins, eider ducks, black guillemots and oystercatchers, to name but a few types of birds that are common to the area.

Taking the occasional break from all the peace and quietness is easy, as the village Hólmavík is comfortably close by with its swimming pool, museums, and other places of interest.
