About the hotel
The Sunset Cottage is a 42 m2 small house. It has two bedrooms, kitchen facilities, fridge, stove and cooking equipment's, a bathroom with shower and a small seating area. Sunset Cottage is extremely well situated to enjoy the West Icelandic sunset in summer, spring, autumn and the northern lights in winter. The Sunset Cottage has it name for a reason.
The Sunset Cottage has Kitchen, fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, coffee machine & other kitchen amenities. Parking beside house. Free WI-FI and is included. Rooms come with bed linen and towels.
The Sunset Cottage is only 35 meters from the service house (hot tubs) and 120 meters from the reception/restaurant.
Breakfast is not included, but available at Fossatun Restaurant.
Our Rock 'n' Troll restaurant is the ideal dinner choice for our guests, incredible location & view, good food and reasonable prices.
The Fossatun slogan is Rock n Troll and is a reference to the big vinyl collection in dinner area and the available troll books written by the owner.
Restaurant https://fossatun.is/rock-n-troll-restaurant/ is seasonally open for dinner. In winter reservations must be made.
During main season access to Troll Garden is included - in winter parts of it are closed.
The Cottage is great option for families or friends who prefer a bit more privacy and access to self catering.
