Camping Pods are part of Glamping travel, light and reasonable priced. A sleeping bag accommodation. Bedlinen package of pillow, duvet, sheets and towel and breakfast can be reserved as extras.

Think of a Camping pod like a luxury tent. They are insulated and heated, which means: although they are not houses, they still are suitable for the Icelandic winter, warm and nice. However electricity is limited and not for high electricity use equipment.

All pods have table, chairs, bench & a bed and mini fridge. All pods have access to bathroom facilities, three kitchen/dining houses, House of Fun a sit down WiFi, reading or playing (cards, chess etc. area, outdoor BBQ (guests have to bring their own coals) showers and hot tubs and WiFi.

Staying in a pod is a suitable solution for guests who search for good basic and reasonably priced accommodation with access to well equipped kitchen and sanitary facilities. Nice hikes in the beautiful surrounding scenery plus a central location in the West Region of Iceland to go from on day trips in different directions, makes Fossatun an ideal destination.

The Standard Camping Pods are for 2 adults. They have a double bed (140x200 cm). Twin Pod Cottages, have two separate beds (80x200 cm) for two adults. They are cottage shaped with seating area terrace at the entrance. Family Camping Pods 3 have a double bed (140x200 cm) and a full size single bed 90x200 cm. Family Camping Pods 4 have a double bed (140x200 cm) and two single beds for children (80x 180 cm). Camping Pods Duo are Standard Pods but have minimum of 2 nights stay and better price.

Our Rock ´n´ Troll restaurant is the ideal dinner choice for our guests, incredible location & view, good food and reasonable prices.

The Fossatun slogan is Rock n Troll and is a reference to the big vinyl collection in dinner area and the available troll books written by the owner.

Restaurant https://fossatun.is/rock-n-troll-restaurant/ is seasonally open for dinner. In winter reservations must be made.

During main season access to Troll Garden is included - in winter parts of it are closed.
