Hotel Halond is in the mountain Hlíðarfjall with a great view over Akureyri and panoramic views to all directions. We pride ourselves in having 54 double/twin rooms and each room are 26m2.

We believe in self service and sustainability, before your arrival you will get your access code and nomore waiting in line at arrival.

The hotel is completely non-smoking, and pets are not allowed, neither indoors nor around the hotel.

The rooms are well furnished, and each room has a private bathroom with walk-in shower, a queen size bed or 2x80cm beds, a sofa that can be converted into bed (140x200cm, a refrigerator, a dining table and chairs for 4, a flat-screen TV, coffee machine, patio/balcony, safety deposit box and free WiFi. Bed linen and towels are included.

On the lower floor of the hotel, there is a ski/bike storage room where you can find drying cabinets that belong to each room, where you can store and dry outdoor clothing and other equipment. The ski/bike storage room has facilities for storing ski equipment, bike equipment and other equipment as well where we offer our guests a laundry facility for a fee.

• Canceling within 6 weeks prior to arrival a 100% of the total amount will be charged.

• Canceling within 8 weeks prior to arrival a 100% of the total amount will be charged.

• Canceling within 12 weeks prior to arrival a 25% of the total amount will be charged.
• Canceling within 10 weeks prior to arrival a 50% of the total amount will be charged.
• Canceling within 8 weeks prior to arrival a 75% of the total amount will be charged.
• Canceling within 6 weeks prior to arrival a 100% of the total amount will be charged.
