Setrið guesthouse is a grand three-story building located on Helgagata 5. With one of the most beautiful views in Borgarnes, there is something magical to be seen from every window of the house. The house has a unique energy, welcoming its guests with a feel of home.

On the ground floor there are four rooms: two single rooms, one large two-person room, and a small two-person room. The shower facilities are all located on the ground floor, with two bathrooms that hold two showers and one bath. Every room in the house comes with bathrobes.

Walking into the house, a small entryway provides an area to make teas and coffees, along with a fridge for guest use.
On the second floor there are three beautiful two-person rooms, a kitchen, dining room and a balcony. A small bathroom with a sink and shower is also located on the floor.

In the kitchen there is a fridge, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, coffee machine, toaster, and kettle. The kitchen is intended for all guests in the house.
On the third floor there is one two-person room with a small, ensuite bathroom. A family room is also located on the floor, with two pull-out couches where two to four can sleep. It is a cosy family room for those travelling in a group. Aside from these spaces, there is a communal living space on the floor with stunning views open to all guests.

Restaurants, swimming pool and hot tubs, the outdoor playground of Bjössaróló and lovely walking paths are all within short walking distance of the house. Borgarnes is perfect for a two to four night stay and for day trips to Snæfellsnes, Borgarfjörður and even the Golden circle. A beautiful garden surrounds the house where the elves have made their homes, and you can sit down and relax after a day of travelling or you can enjoy your dinner on the balcony off the kitchen, whilst watching the beautiful sunset.
